Michael Jackson 1990s
Michael Jackson was one of Pepsi's biggest celebrity endorsor. The company first featured Mr. Jackson and his brothers in 1984, but they brought him back in the '90s to make another set of commercials. The commercial above is about Pepsi financing all of Michael Jackson's tour concerts. The commercial shows him performing at the concert and having many people chase him all over the world until he ends up back on stage.
Ray Charles for diet Pepsi- early 1990s
During the 1990's they also had Ray Charles endorsing Diet Pepsi. In the commercial Ray Charles sings a jingle called "Uh Huh" with a group of background singers. They have Mr. Charles in the series of commercials play the piano and perform a fake concert no matter where he is. There is another commercial where he ends up singing his jingle in a courthouse because he love Diet Pepsi so much.
Brittney Spears 2001; Beyonce & Pink
In 2001 and 2002 they had Britney Spears feature one of her famous songs and remake it into a Pepsi song. The top commercial features an actual Pepsi song by Britney called the Joy of Pepsi. The advertisement below the top one, was the last commercial endorsement for Britney, and it premiered during the Super Bowl of that year. The commercial featured Beyonce, Enrique Iglesias, and Pink. After Britney's endorsement Beyonce took over with one or two commercials, and Enrique Iglesias also had a couple of commercials.
Beyonce 2012
Beyonce was Pepsi's latest celebrity endorsor. She was featured again in 2012 with the Mirror song that showed how Beyonce has made it through the years, and she takes a look at who she has become. During her endorsement she was also booked to perform for the Super Bowl of that year. Beyonce made a deal of $50 million with Pepsi, for both her performance and the commercial endorsements. She was one of Pepsi's biggest celebrity endorsement, along with Michael Jackson.
